The Truth About Nibbles incorporates a contemporary Aboriginal family in their day to day setting with traditional teaching in a humorous and insightful story.

This book has been formatted in a way that encourages parents, extended family members and care-givers to read out loud with young children for the educational and emotional benefits to all involved. When parents embrace their position as their child’s most influential role-model and understand the value of reading together, the outcome is positive and measureable.

There are 2 different reading levels in this book. Ontario LBS 5, as shown in the smaller-print text, is intended for the adult to read out loud to the child. The larger-print text in the book is intended for the child to read.

Through this unique reading format, the parent will be able to contribute to the growth of their children and have a much-needed opportunity to bond with them through a literacy experience.
